We sold the building and have to clear out the bookshop, so everything is 50% off now until we don’t own the building anymore! Here are the last few days we’ll be open (10 a.m.–5 p.m.):

A note to our customers from Peter and Rhiannon Surowski: Thank you so, so much for coming to our bookshop! You’ve all been so friendly, loving and supportive and made this fun project of ours soooooo worth it!  Many of you know this shop was a side project for us, and after a couple years we realized it was best for us to focus on our main businesses, which are a software engineering firm called Code Temple and a marketing agency called Big Blue Goat. Then we decided to sell the building to someone who would make better use of it than we would. We’re not going to give away any secrets, but we think you’re going to love the new owner. We don’t kow exactly what she has planned, but she has a track record of doing super interesting and amazing things for Detroit and we’re on the edge of our seats to see what she has in store for West Village. We love all of you and we hope you’ll stay in touch!
