The building that houses our bookstore, which is at 1417 Van Dyke St., has been the home of a record shop (Paramita Sounds, now in Downtown Detroit), another bookstore (27th Letter, now in Corktown, Detroit), a vegan café, a deli, and who knows what else?! We’ve been piecing together it’s history from the locals who come in, and there’s so many stories that have taken place in these four walls.
